As Believers, we do not Have to Live a Life of Defeat, Fear, Anxiety or Guilt:

We can Rest in God’s Loving Arms, Instead 

  Are you living a life of fear, threat, anxiety or regret? As a Believer in Jesus Christ, we don’t have to live in fear. We don’t have to worry about threats to our lives. We don’t even have to be anxious or live a life of regret. Jesus has set us free from the bondage and consequences of sin in our lives. I am not saying there are no consequences to our actions. Of course, there are. Stupid mistakes can cause heartache in our lives. I’m referring instead, to our daily walk with our Savior. Jesus will take the mistakes in our lives and mold us into the beautiful vessel He desires. Jesus is always with us protecting us from others, and most importantly; ourselves. He can and will make us new (2 Chronicles 20:1-37; Philippians 4:6; Romans 8:1; Jeremiah 18; 2 Corinthians 5:17). 

We do not Have to Live in Defeat

Human nature causes us to be threatened by people and events in our lives, but God has called us to trust Him in all circumstances. When we trust Him, we will have the power to defeat any threats that come our way. As Children of God, nothing will be able to defeat us. We never have to feel threatened by anyone or anything again. God will protect us just as He did the Israelites. Because of His faithfulness, we can live our lives without succumbing to threats (Isaiah 54:17; Malachi 3:6). 

We do not Have to Succumb to Fear

Just as we do not have to give in to threats, we also don’t have to live in fear. God is always with us. He will strengthen us and lift us up to victory. God is Love. Because of His love, we don’t have to live a life of fear. We can rest in His loving arms, instead (2 Timothy 1:7; Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 23:1-6; 1 John 4:16-19).

We Do Not Have to be Anxious

God has promised we don’t have to be anxious about anything in our lives. We can go to His Throne of Grace, knowing He will give us peace in any situation we face. God wants us to give Him all of our concerns. We can trust Him for His unfailing love endures forever (Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Peter 5:6-7; Psalm 100:5).

We do not Have to Live a Life Filled with Guilt

A Child of God doesn’t have to live a life of regret. Guilt has been washed away by the blood of Jesus. When we gave our lives to Him, He faithfully forgave us for all of our sins. We are no longer condemned, for our Savior's unfailing love took our sins away. Ask God to help you forgive yourself in the same way He has forgiven you. Ask Him to restore the joy of your salvation. You will then live a life of freedom (John 1:9; Romans 8:1; Psalm 103:11-12; 51:12).

We can Live our Lives Free in Jesus Christ

We are free in Jesus Christ. Our final destiny is Heaven with our Savior. However, our destiny began when we gave our lives to Him. Jesus is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. We are a Child of God. We can live with confidence, not because of what we can accomplish. We can live our lives with confidence because of what Jesus accomplished on the Cross of Calvary. I pray we will begin living in His freedom. Trust in Jesus. He will take your burdens and concerns, and free you from threat, fear, anxiety, and guilt. You are free indeed.
